Your magick, your medicine, and your power already live within you.
That's the conviction on which I built this temple . Before you've done any work here. Before you've walked a single pathway. Before you've offered anything at all. You arrive whole. You arrive sufficient. You arrive carrying everything you've been looking for.

 

Though every path unfolds differently, four threads weave through the heart of the school.

 

(I) Healing is unlayering.
Life places things over us. Trauma, shame, conditioning, silence, survival. They settle over our truest nature like sediment over stone. Healing is clearing what's been placed on top of who you've always been.

The further we go in this work, the more clearly we return to our actual nature. And in that return, we find our sovereignty, our authority, our unique medicine.
Healing here isn't a straight road and I've never claimed it to be. You can take detours. You can pause. You can stop and Start Over. You can come back. You can still be healing and still be in relationship with the divine. It's all of you that's welcome here. The soft and the strong. The certain and the searching. The part of you that's been performing peace and the part that's ready to live it.

(II) The sacred is yours to carry.
The Divine isn't far off. Not in the sky, not in someone more spiritually advanced than you, not waiting for you to earn your way there. The Divine lives here. In your breath. In the spaces between your thoughts. In that cloudy, muddy moment when you're half asleep and half awake. In the stillness that wraps around you when you finally stop performing. In the loud and the quiet. 
Spirit isn't waiting for you to get it right. Spirit's waiting for you to get still enough to notice she's never left.
You haven't got a ladder of worthiness to climb. Your connection with the sacred is your birthright. What this temple asks is that you return to the space inside you where Spirit has always been.
Before it might have been about doctrine, now and in here it's about relationship. 

 

(111) Your life is a living altar.
Exploration is sacred engagement. Showing up to your own life with full presence. With honesty. With the willingness to see what's actually there.
Through reflection, through inquiry, through the practice of honest self-witness, the ordinary becomes sacred.

The daily becomes the altar. The moment of quiet recognition becomes the practice.
Exploration is where the fog begins to clear.

 

(IV) There is something that moves through us.
This one is harder to name. It's the mystery. The moment that cracks something open. The presence that meets you when you're still enough to notice. A sudden quiet. A chill. A deep yes in the bones.
It might last a second or a season. But when it comes, you know.
You can't control it. You can court it. The more you notice it, honour it, and let it guide you, the more you trust your own medicine and your own magick.
You don't need to define it to be changed by it.

What this temple asks.

Your honesty. Your willingness to sit with questions before reaching for answers. Your trust in the pace of your own becoming. Your presence. Not the spiritual performance of yourself. The actual you, in all of your fullness.

This is a temple for the whole of you.

What this temple holds.

Every path in this school moves toward the same centre.

The self is the destination and the ground.

What you find here isn't something new. It's something that has been waiting in you all along.

The altar has always been here. You are simply learning to tend it.
